Of Faith & Thanksgiving

Like to share some thanksgiving testimonies here.

He listens to my prayers
Last week, I was scraping the bottom of my bank account with barely enough for daily expenses during the week. On one particular day, my wallet was really empty and I'm thinking of skipping lunch. But I remembered having to go for lunch together with my manager. (Just a normal get-together lunch). I know I can't escape anymore when he asked me for suggestions to a good "Dim Sum" restaurant for lunch. In my heart, I was praying, "Lord, please provide for your servant's needs". Then right after that, my manager said, "Thanks for the suggestion, let's go there today. My treat."

He understands my needs
I was waiting for my girlfriend's cell grp to end on Sat. Planned to head off somewhere together after that. Didn't wanna travel all the way to town (and didn't have enough for dinner at Cartel's). So, I was pondering what I could do for the next few hours. A thought ran through my mind to go to the basketball court and watch ppl play. It just stopped raining and the ground was still wet from where I was. Having played at that basketball court before, I knew it was quite impossible for anyone to be there at this time. Still, boredom forced me to move my butt and make my way to the court. Imagine my surprise when I hear the rhythmic bouncing of the basketball against the ground as I approach the court. Stayed at the court until lights went off at 10pm.

And all I can say is, "God is good, all the time".
