SAINTS Forever!

Last Sunday, I met up with my brothers at Panliang's house and we played board games for the whole afternoon and night. Played muchkins first cos everyone wanted to try out something new. Another couple who are Serene's friends joined us for the session. I'm glad our group are warm and open enough to welcome them.

The 5 of us have known each other for at least 13 years and we have been buddies since then. Over the course of time, our group has only grown slightly with the addition of Tintin and missus of our brothers. Going by that way, I never imagine our group can grow beyond 12 people (6 brothers plus their missus). Tim and Cheryl's addition made me see our group in a new perspective all over again. We are able to expand beyond our current boundaries. As long as our hearts are open and welcome to positive changes. I'm glad our Jedi brotherhood did very well in this aspect and I sincerely applaud them. Not many groups are able to do that with genuine warmth and acceptance. It may be too early to say anything now. For all you know, we are still 6 cheeky Jedi brothers, but at least we are not an exclusive club that no one else can join.

I hope our group will continue to stay this way; closely knitted and bonded together, yet warm and open towards others outside the group. We who are totally different individuals with varied interests, its always amazing how we can still come together and become such good friends. We have been through some much together over the years and shared so much memories together. It is really no coincidence that we are still friends now. The kindred bonds and friendship we built over the years will not be severed easily. And to make use of an old saying of our school, we will always be SAINTS forever!
